I’m Caryn (they/none), and I created Felt Not Fixed for people trying to stay human in a world that rewards disconnection.
I offer non-clinical coaching, consulting, and group facilitation rooted in liberation psychologies, lived experience, and a belief that your feelings make sense.
As my business name implies, I don't believe in "fixing" or ~optimizing~ myself or others. My goal is to create a place where you can explore authenticity, make mistakes, and make connections.
I'm an extravert who loves meeting people and getting to know them. Schedule a free 20-min consult with me to tell me about your ideas for working together!
I’m a licensed psychologist, but this space is intentionally non-clinical. My work is shaped by my own experiences with grief, burnout, queerness, disability, and trying to live my values in systems that reward disconnection.
I run an ongoing support group for folks Still COVIDing, as well as seasonal process-based workshops. These are spaces for connection, honesty, and shared reflection—not performance (...except for the improv workshops).
I offer limited 1:1 support, consultation for practitioners, and group facilitation—all rooted in care, relationship, and a refusal to treat your exhaustion as a personal failure.
My work is grounded in liberatory and feminist psychologies, existential thought, and a commitment to community healing. We stay with the hard stuff and make room for contradiction, care, and curiosity.
You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers. Sometimes.
Nope. While I’m a licensed psychologist and I bring in all my wonderful education and trainings, Felt Not Fixed is a non-clinical space. I don’t diagnose, treat, or provide mental health care here.
People who feel 'too much.' People who don't want to be numb anymore. Oddballs. Black sheep. Perfectionists. Healers. Mourners. People navigating grief, identity shifts, burnout, or disillusionment. People trying to live their values while the world is on fire.
Relational, slow, and values-rooted. I draw from liberatory and feminist psychologies, group process work, existential-humanism, and my own lived experience. Here I focus less on “fixing” and more on presence, truth-telling, and fostering authenticity.
Absolutely not. Uncertainty is welcome here. A consult call is a low-pressure way to explore whether this space is right for you.
Felt Not Fixed is not a crisis service, and I may not be able to respond right away. If you’re in acute distress or need urgent care, here are some non-carceral, peer-led, or identity-affirming resources that may be helpful:
